If you are interested in applying for WIC authorization, please submit the New York State WIC Vendor Questionnaire: Part I to the Vendor Management Agency (VMA) in your area no later than December 31, 2019. Click Here to find the VMA for your area.  NYS has defined an Independent store as a single store, or group of 9 or fewer stores, operating under a single FEIN. All stores in VCP 2 have the same current contract end date of March 31, 2020. Applications for authorization will be accepted on a continuous basis in areas where there is inadequate participant access as defined by NYS.

Currently authorized vendors whose contract ends on March 31, 2020 will receive information on how to reapply to the WIC Program from their VMA in October 2019.

If you have any questions, please email Vendor.Applications@health.ny.gov.

Requests for an Application outside the Open Application Period will be reviewed and considered in areas where there is inadequate participant access as defined by NYS. Please review the Zip Code List to determine if inadequate participant access exists in your store’s area. Information on Open Application Periods will be posted to this website when they become available.
